Founding story

From humble roots to global horizons — Wondernut was born from Kenya’s fertile soils and the spirit of its people.

Founded in the early 2000s, Wondernut began as a small family-led venture dedicated to unlocking the full potential of Kenya’s rich agricultural heritage. What started as a modest nut processing operation soon evolved into a global enterprise — blending traditional farming wisdom with modern innovation.

By 2014, the company established a world-class processing facility under the Export Processing Zone (EPZ) program, ensuring the highest international standards in quality, safety, and sustainability.

Today, Wondernut International EPZ Ltd partners with thousands of local farmers across East Africa, transforming every harvest into a symbol of integrity and progress. Every kernel processed tells a story — of empowerment, environmental stewardship, and the belief that prosperity begins when nature and people grow together.
